Internal commenting for your team

To facilitate collaboration between teams, we offer the ability to comment on posts inside the platform. For example, your client or a teammate can leave a note about what to change, etc.

Whether this is an already published or scheduled post, tap it, and it'll open up in a bigger view. You can leave a comment on the right side in the appropriate box.

In the calendar, such a post will be marked with the appropriate tiny sign, as highlighted below.

  • Commenting is available for all types of posts: scheduled, published, proposed for approval, and not yet approved. The exception is for posts that were made directly to the social platform but not through PromoRepublic. There will be a respective message at the top.

  • Even if the post with comments was rescheduled or recycled, comments would still be there.

  • Comments can contain text, links and emojis.

Who can create and manage comments?

  • All location roles (Owner, Admin, Member, Client) can create comments on all posts created within PromoRepublic.

  • You can see the comment's author and the time when it was created.

  • Comments can be deleted or resolved by the author (own comments only) or an admin (own and all other comments). To resolve a comment, hover over it and tick it. To delete a comment, click on the trash icon.

Internal Comments

These are rather notes that you attach to a post or an ad when scheduling it or suggesting, that is, after you click on the Schedule button. It’s like a brief, but better. Let’s say you want to give some guidance to your team, tell about the campaign, targeting, or story you’d like to tell the customers.

Opening the post in the calendar to a bigger view, your teammate will see the comment.

Hidden Comments

  • Here is another feature to collaborate on the content you prepare for either your clients, teammates, or franchisees. Location admins and members can see the comments, but comments stay hidden for users with the Client permission role.*

*This can be customized for white-labelled solutions or other business solutions.

  • To make your comment hidden, mark the appropriate check-box.

  • ☝️ Note that you will not be able to change the comment visibility after it's added.

  • You can leave hidden comments on all types of posts that you create in PromoRepublic: published, scheduled, and proposed for approval.

  • Hidden comments can be deleted or resolved by the author (own comments only) or by the admin (own and other users' comments). Admins and Members will get notifications about all the actions on hidden posts the same way as it works for regular post commenting.

  • The Hidden Comments feature is not available on some of our subscription plans.

Collaborate Easier With Notifications

Using notifications makes it much easier to collaborate with your teammates, clients, and franchisees, such as managing content creation, tracking publishing, and approval processes. You will get notifications about all the events that happen in the location.

Find the Notification icon in the top right corner near your profile picture. Once there is a new action taken in the location, you will see a white dot as pictured below.

Clicking the icon, it'll open the list of activities on the right side.
