Dynamic fields

Post localization means the ability to add attributes to the post. When publishing a post these attributes will be dynamically filled out, for example, working hours, website, physical location, etc.

This feature is available only on white-labelled platforms and franchise solutions.

If you want to take advantage of this feature, reach out to your personal Success Manager or talk to sales.

How does this work?

To fill out these dynamic fields, navigate to the location settings, where you fill in the necessary attributes, for example, company website and working hours.

Location owner, admins, and clients can edit and save this information, but participants with the Member role can't do it. The set of permissions can be discussed and customized.

Per your request, other or more dynamic fields can be added to your white label configuration. Key names that you can see in the text box when filling them out are the names of the fields in lowercase letters with underscores.

Use attributes when creating a post.

If this feature was enabled for you, you'll see the localization attributes icon near the Emoji icon when scheduling a post.

The key will be pasted in the text box upon clicking on the necessary attribute. Key names that you can see in the text are the field names in lowercase letters with underscores.

When the post is scheduled, every localization attribute will be represented with the attribute data that was set up in the location settings.

In My Ideas the post attributes won’t be represented with the data and will remain as keys in the text.

Use attributes in a CTA when boosting a post.

You can use dynamic fields in a CTA on the boosting post page. This feature eliminates the need for manual input of all locations, making it more convenient for users. By leveraging dynamic fields from the location settings, users can easily populate values in the boosting post.

It is useful for customers with multiple locations, such as franchises. They can now dynamically populate values in the boosting post's CTA button, which redirects to the URL page of the respective franchisee. This streamlines the process of approving and posting suggested posts, saving users time and effort.

Dynamic fields that have empty values in the location settings are validated during the creation of a boosting post. What does it mean? For example, during the boosting post creation process, on the post page, empty dynamic field(s) of the selected location is displayed with the title "Empty dynamic field(s)" and actions: "Set attributes" or "Deselect location pages".

On the calendar page during boosting post creation, empty dynamic field(s) of the selected location is displayed with the title "Empty dynamic field(s)" and the action: "Set attributes".

Warning: Don't Have Attributes

You may receive such a pop-up error if you select pages that are contained in such locations where Localization Attributes are not set up when trying to schedule a post.

In this message you can see what fields are not filled out and in what locations. For each location you can:

  • Set attributes - In the pop-up window, you can add the necessary info and proceed with the post scheduling.

  • Deselect location pages - If you want to edit the location settings later, you can exclude the pages that are contained in this location.

We hope it was helpful!
