The cross-timezone posting feature enhances the existing posting functionality of our platform by introducing a new option for scheduling posts to social pages in different time zones. This feature allows users to ensure that posts are delivered to customers at the appropriate local time, especially for businesses operating across different continents.
What are the benefits?
Enhanced Relevance. When posts are published at the most appropriate time, this increases customer engagement, as the audience is more likely to see and interact with the content when they are active.
Global Reach. By automatically converting the scheduled time to the corresponding local time for each selected page, businesses can ensure that their posts are delivered at optimal times, regardless of geographical location. This expands the reach of their content and maximizes its impact on a global scale.
Streamlined Efficiency. The new feature simplifies the scheduling process for HQ users. They can choose between fixed-time scheduling and using pages' time zones, depending on their specific goals and target audience. This flexibility streamlines the scheduling process and reduces the need for manual adjustments, saving time and effort for businesses operating across multiple time zones.
How does it work?
Begin by creating the desired post content within the platform.
Choose the relevant pages where you want to schedule the post.
Hit Schedule and then switch the Schedule with Page’s Timezone(s) toggle. This ensures that the post is scheduled based on the respective time zones of the selected pages.
If the switch remains untouched, the system will default to the existing fixed-time scheduling method.
4. The system verifies that each selected page's scheduled time is in the future. If the scheduled time is in the past for any page, the system prompts the user to select a future time or allows them to proceed with immediate publishing for posts scheduled in the past.
By following these steps, the cross-timezone posting feature simplifies the scheduling process, enabling users to schedule posts precisely according to page time zones. This enhances the effectiveness and relevance of the posts, optimizing engagement across different time zones.
