Staying connected with your audience is vital for your brand's reputation. PromoRepublic's newly launched Review Digests feature makes it easy for you to manage your online presence by sending you daily summaries of reviews from various platforms such as Google and Facebook. This guide is designed to help you understand and make the most of this feature.

What Are Review Digests?

Review Digests are daily email summaries that overview new, unanswered, and fluctuating reviews across your digital presence. This feature lets you track your online reputation without logging into multiple platforms.

Why Use Review Digests?

Engaging with customer reviews is essential to building and maintaining a good brand reputation. Here's why you should pay attention:

  • Consumer Trust: 98% of consumers rely on online reviews for purchasing decisions.

  • Immediate Action: Enables you to address issues or thank customers promptly.

  • Business Intelligence: Provides quick insights into what your customers like or dislike about your brand.

Types of Review Digests

PromoRepublic offers three different types of digests to provide a comprehensive view of your brand's online standing:

πŸ‘οΈβ€πŸ—¨οΈ New Review Alerts

  • πŸ‘‰ Receive notifications of new reviews as they come in. This alert keeps you informed about the latest feedback from your customers.

πŸ‘οΈβ€πŸ—¨οΈ Review Spike Alerts

  • πŸ‘‰ Alerts are designed to notify you of any significant changes in the volume of reviews. This notification helps you promptly address any emerging trends or issues.

πŸ‘οΈβ€πŸ—¨οΈ Response Status Alerts

  • πŸ‘‰Β Monitor unanswered reviews and receive reminders to respond within a specific time frame. This alert ensures that you remain highly responsive to customer feedback.

Instant Alerts

In addition to the regular digests, PromoRepublic offers instant alerts to keep you informed in real-time about various activities, such as new reviews, reviews that haven't been responded to within 24 hours, or spikes in the volume of reviews. These are separate from your daily Review Digests, which provide a summary of the day's review activity.

πŸ‘‰ You can disable instant notifications by unticking the Allow Email Notifications option in your settings. Just so you know, this will not affect your daily Review Digests, which are managed separately.

When and Where You'll Receive Digests

  • When: Digests are sent out daily at 5 p.m. local time. If you are a larger enterprise and need a different time, please contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM).

  • Where: These digests will be sent directly to your registered email address.

πŸ‘‰Β Note: You will only receive digests if you have a Reputation Manager.

How to Disable Digests

If you prefer not to receive these digests:

  • Go to settings in your PromoRepublic account.

  • Untick the option for "Allow Daily Reports." This option will disable both Social and Review Reports.

πŸ‘‰Β Note: Enterprise clients who wish to disable the Review Digests feature for specific roles (like franchisees) must contact their Customer Success Manager (CSM). This option is currently only available for enterprise-level accounts.
