When your brand's HQ sets up a campaign, you may see scheduled tasks appear in your page calendar. These are posts that HQ has prepared for your location — you review them and approve before they go live.
Finding campaign tasks in your calendar
Campaign tasks appear in your regular page calendar alongside your own scheduled posts. They're marked with a colored tag and show the campaign name — so you can tell at a glance which campaign the content belongs to.
Each task shows the scheduled date and time. To see the content, click the task to open a preview.
✅ Approving a task
Click the task in your calendar.
Review the content in the preview modal.
Click Approve.
Once approved, the post is confirmed for your page. It will publish automatically at the scheduled time.
You'll see a confirmation indicator on the task in your calendar after approving.
Editing a task before it publishes
If HQ's content isn't quite right for your location, you can edit the task rather than just approving it.
Click the task in your calendar → Edit.
The post editor opens pre-filled with HQ's content. You can change the text, swap out media, adjust the schedule, or add/remove pages. When you save, the post is created from your edits — it stays linked to the campaign, but the content is yours.
Note: Editing only affects your location's version of the post. Other franchisees' versions are unchanged.
Completing a dynamic fields prompt
If HQ's content includes placeholders for location-specific information (like your business address or location name), you'll be prompted to fill those in before you can approve.
A modal will appear listing any missing fields. Fill them in and the approval will proceed.
If you're not sure what to enter, contact your HQ team — the required fields depend on how they've set up the campaign content.
If you don't approve in time
Tasks that reach their scheduled time without being approved are missed. They disappear from your calendar and won't publish automatically.
There's no way to retroactively approve a missed task. If you need to publish the content, contact HQ — they can create a new task with a future date.
Permissions
You need publish permission for your page to approve tasks. If you can see a task in your calendar but the Approve button isn't available, your account may not have publish access for that page. Contact your administrator.
