Changing Time Zone
When connecting a page for the first time, this step is included β but if you missed it, it's easy to update.
β οΈ Just keep in mind that posts will be published according to the time zone set in PromoRepublic, not your local time zone.

Step 2
In the Page Settings pop-up, update the time zone and country as needed:
Step 3

Creating Internal Notes
In the PromoRepublic Calendar, you can create notes to keep track of special events, offers, or anything else you don't want to miss on a specific day.
β
To create a note:
β
Step 1
Hover over the desired date, click Create, and select New Note.
β
Step 2
Type your note in the text field. You can save, cancel, or delete it using the options below.
β
π‘This feature is especially useful for team members collaborating on content. The person who creates a note has full control over editing and deleting it, but both members can leave notes for each other β handy when working on a monthly content plan at different times.
Using Upcoming Events
Similar to the Post Ideas Library, this is an additional source of content located in the Calendar. The Upcoming Events tab is meant to give you ideas and inspiration for future posts. They include American holidays, historical dates, hot trends, special occasions, and other well-known events that will attract your audience.Β
To access the Upcoming Events, open your Calendar and click Upcoming Events next to My Content:
Each day offers various ideas β some are text-only, while others include images and are ready to use right away.
When clicking on an event with no image you'll get a pop-up with some short info about the event:
You will have an option to click 'Add Post' and once clicked it will redirect you to Post Editor.
β
Clicking on an event containing an image will redirect you straight to Post Editor.
β
There you can do plenty of things with it: edit, add a caption, image, publish it right away, or schedule it for the date when the event takes place. That date will be suggested to you automatically.
β οΈ Please note that these are recommendations only and not scheduled posts.
It's up to you to decide whether an upcoming event is relevant for your page β if it is, feel free to use the visual, customize it, and schedule or publish it right away.
π‘ You can also use Upcoming Events to create notes. For example, if there's a special holiday or event you want to post about but it's still a week away, simply add a note to remind yourself when the time comes.
