How to connect pages to your locations

Updated yesterday

πŸš€ Connecting your social media pages is the first step to unlocking everything PromoRepublic has to offer β€” from publishing and scheduling posts to tracking analytics, managing inbox messages, monitoring reviews, and collaborating with your team.

How to connect a page?

Step 1

You can connect a page in two places:

  • the Calendar

  • the Location Settings

If you're a single-location user, go to Publishing β†’ Calendar β†’ Connect Page:

If you manage multiple locations, it may be easier to connect pages through Location Settings:

  • Click your profile icon in the top right and select Locations

  • Click the gear icon next to the relevant location

  • Go to the Connect Pages & Teammates tab and click Connect More Pages:

Step 2

Select the type of social media from the supported ones:

Step 3

Authenticate and Authorize the App

Selecting a social media type will trigger an authorization pop-up. Please authorize the app to allow posting on your behalf.

  • The app may appear as SocialPost or PromoRepublic β€” both are correct.

  • ⚠️ Make sure to grant all the permissions requested β€” skipping any may affect the connection and other features, not just publishing.

  • The process varies by channel. See the sections below for channel-specific instructions.

Step 4

Select a page and connect it

Pick your page from the drop-down menu β€” use the search bar if you have a lot of pages to scroll through:

Once your first page is connected, to add another:

  • In the Calendar, click the Plus icon or Connect More on the left

  • In Location Settings, click Connect More Pages (⚠️ Pages can only be connected one at a time).

⚠️ Important:

  • Each page can only belong to one location β€” once connected, it can't be added to another.

  • If you're a team member of a location, its pages count toward your account's total page limit.

  • You can create or join unlimited locations, but your plan sets a limit on the total number of pages. Each page added to any location reduces that limit. For example, the Agency plan includes 30 pages β€” add one page anywhere and you'll have 29 left.

πŸ”§ Troubleshooting

If your page isn't listed, the reason may vary by social channel. For any connection errors, check out the article below:
