What Is the AI Assistant?

PromoRepublic’s AI Assistant is designed to help franchise and multi-location businesses manage your local marketing more efficiently. It is integrated into a mobile app that provides context-aware marketing support using your actual performance data, brand guidelines, and platform content.

How Does It Work?

The AI Assistant analyses your platform data, including published posts, performance metrics, reviews, and account structure, along with your user role, permissions, and brand configuration to generate helpful suggestions. As a franchisee, it will use your location information; as a Head Office, all locations' data will be used.

It is powered by OpenAI GPT-4 to process your prompt text and return a real-time response tailored to your specific context. ☝️ All prompts and replies respect your access level, workflow settings, and brand guidelines.

🛎️ Important: AI features are tied to your enabled platform modules.

  • For example, if your account does not include the Reviews module, the AI Assistant cannot assist with review replies.

  • Similarly, if you do not have access to Social features, the AI Assistant will not offer caption suggestions.

Also, feature visibility is determined by your billing plan and user permissions. If a feature is missing, it may be disabled for your account or role. Contact your Customer Success Manager to confirm access or request an upgrade.

How can it help?

Content Generation

  • Post caption creation matching brand tone (if set up).

  • Uses past performance data to inform suggestions.

  • Respects brand voice settings in the platform (if set up).

  • Generates multiple options when requested.

Example prompts:

  • "Write a caption about [promotion] using [tone] for [audience]".

  • "Create 3 post options based on what worked in the past".

Performance Analysis

  • Answers questions about engagement, reach, and metrics.

  • Analyses your actual data (published posts, performance metrics).

  • Provides plain-language explanations.

  • Can compare time periods or locations (if access granted).

Example prompts:

  • "Why did my engagement drop last week?"

  • "Which posts had the highest engagement last month?"

Review Response Generation

  • Creates replies to Google and Facebook reviews.

  • Matches brand tone settings (if set up).

  • Context-aware based on review content and rating.

Example prompts:

  • "Generate reply to my last [X]-star review"

  • "Help me respond to a negative review about [issue]"

Platform Guidance

  • Answers how-to questions about PromoRepublic features.

  • Pulls from Help Center content.

  • Provides step-by-step instructions.

Example prompts:

  • "How do I schedule posts?"

  • "How do I create carousel posts?"

How to Get Started?

  1. Log into the PromoRepublic or SocialPost app.

  2. Look for the AI Assistant button at the bottom right of the view.

  3. Use the available prompts or type in a custom query.

    AI analyses your brand settings, past performance, context and returns a reply. For example, you have a question about metrics and you ask "Why did engagement drop?". AI checks your actual performance data, identifies trends/changes in data and returns a plain-language explanation with relevant numbers. Feel free to ask any follow-up questions. 

  4. Review and edit it before publishing if needed.

Key Differentiators vs Generic AI:

  1. Uses actual customer data, not assumptions.

  2. Knows the context: user role, permissions, plan features, etc.

  3. Respects the configured brand voice automatically.

  4. Built into the workflow, it is not a separate tool.

  5. Only shows/uses data that you have access to.

What About Data Privacy?

  • All AI prompts and responses are processed securely.

  • We use stateless APIs. It means that OpenAI does not retain or train on your data.

  • All logs are stored only inside PromoRepublic for performance improvements and support.

  • The AI Assistant also pulls information from our Help Center and your brand configuration (tone, templates, assets) to provide accurate suggestions.
