Error: It appears that your personal profile is already connected to another PromoRepublic account

When connecting a Facebook or Instagram business page, you might encounter an error indicating that "your profile is already connected to another account," as shown below. What should you do?

As mentioned in this article, an internal connection (token) is established between your Facebook profile and your PromoRepublic account when connecting a Facebook or Instagram business page. The error message means that the Facebook personal profile, which has an admin role on the business page you are trying to link, is already associated with a different PromoRepublic account.

You might have created another account by mistake. As you know, two ways to sign up for PromoRepublic are by Facebook or email. If you originally signed up with Facebook, we use your Facebook account's email to register an account in PromoRepublic. If you sign up with an email and password first and then log in with Facebook, a separate account will be created automatically. Thus, your Facebook profile will be attached to the newly created account.
