What should be done if you have encountered a pop-up error as pictured below?
As you might know from this article, when connecting a Facebook business page, there sets an invisible connection between its admin Facebook profile and PromoRepublic account.
The error text is pretty self-explanatory: Facebook personal profile, that you are trying to link, is already associated with a different PromoRepublic account that you might have registered accidentally.
As you may notice, there are two ways to sign up to PromoRepublic: with either Facebook or Email. If you signed in with Facebook once, we use the email that is associated with your Facebook Account to register an account in PromoRepublic. If you sign up with email and password first and then log in with Facebook, eventually, a separate account will be created automatically.
The solution here is to locate the PromoRepublic account that contains the desired Facebook profile. Then disconnect the profile as guided here.
