In PromoRepublic, you can connect personal profiles and company pages. We don't support posting to LinkedIn groups.
How to Connect a LinkedIn Company Page
There are two ways to connect any page to PromoRepublic: in the Calendar or in the Location settings.
As a one-location franchisee, you might have one location. At the top, click Publishing -> Calendar -> Connect Page.
If you are invited to several locations, it might be more convenient to open the settings of the necessary location.
Click on the top right corner and tap Locations.
In the Location list, tap the gear icon next to the necessary one.
In the Connect Pages and Teammates tab, click Connect More Pages.
In the next view, tap LinkedIn. It will bring up a pop-up where you need to log in to your LinkedIn account and grant PromoRepublic access.
Once done, pick the desired page from the drop-down menu. Feel free to use the search to find it faster.
Requirements to Connect a LinkedIn Company Page
To connect company pages, you must have a Super Admin role there. In case you need guidance on how to check it, here is how:
Open www.linkedin.com on your computer.
At the top, click your avatar image; in the drop-down menu, find your page in the Manage section.
It will open your page view. In the left-hand menu, tap Settings at the bottom and Manage Admin to the right.
You will see people listed who have access to this page and their roles. As mentioned, it should be a Super Admin role. The Content Admin role will suffice to post there through our platform. Although we suggest having the first one because LinkedIn token expires regularly, pages must be reconnected, and to do that, you need the Super Admin access level.
How to Connect a LinkedIn Profile
To connect a LinkedIn personal profile, the process is similar to the one described above. The only requirement to connect it is to have the login credentials.
In case there is any trouble, open www.linkedin.com in a separate tab, log in there first. This way, you'll ensure that credentials are correct and your profile is up and running. After this, retry connecting it to our platform.
You can connect several LinkedIn personal profiles to one PromoRepublic account as long as you have login credentials.
