In PromoRepublic, you can connect Pinterest boards, but not your whole Pinterest account.
How to connect a Pinterest Board
There are two ways to connect any page to PromoRepublic: in the Calendar or in the Location settings.
As a one-location franchisee, you might have one location. At the top, click Publishing -> Calendar -> Connect Page.
If you are invited to several locations, it might be more convenient to open the settings of the necessary location.
Click on the top right corner and tap Locations.
In the Location list, tap the gear icon next to the necessary one.
In the Connect Pages and Teammates tab, click Connect More Pages.
In the next view, tap Pinterest. It will bring up a pop-up where you need to log in to your Pinterest account and grant PromoRepublic access.
Click on the 'Give Access' button to authorise PromoRepublic to post on your behalf.
Once done, pick the desired board from the drop-down menu. Feel free to use the search to find it faster.
Troubleshooting
If you get an error about no available pages to connect, please check whether you have at least one board under your Pinterest account or if you are authorised in the correct one.
If you have trouble logging into your Pinterest account in the permission pop-up, there is an alternative way to connect the page.
On your computer, in a separate tab, open www.pinterest.com.
Log in there with a preferred method of authorisation.
After this, retry connecting your Pinterest board to PromoRepublic.
The same troubleshooting steps are suggested when the Reconnect button doesn't work when you need to refresh the token.
