What Is the AI Assistant?

The AI Assistant lets you ask questions about your franchise network in plain language and get answers directly from your live account data — without building a report, exporting a spreadsheet, or navigating multiple dashboards.

You type a question. The assistant reads your locations, social pages, reviews, publishing activity, and analytics in real time, and responds in plain language. If you want to dig deeper, you ask a follow-up.

It's built for franchise HQ teams who manage multiple locations and need fast answers: which locations are underperforming, how reputation is trending, what's scheduled and where, whether franchisees are publishing enough.

What makes it different from the dashboards

The dashboards show you what's happening at a point in time. The AI Assistant lets you interrogate the data — ask about a specific location, compare two time periods, surface outliers, or get a network-wide summary in one step rather than clicking through filters.

It doesn't replace reporting. It makes the data in PromoRepublic significantly faster to access.

How it connects to your data

The assistant connects directly to your PromoRepublic account through a set of live data tools. These tools cover six areas:

  • Social performance — audience growth, engagement, and impressions, by network or combined, per location or across all locations. Includes Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.

  • Publishing activity — scheduled posts, published posts, failed posts, proposals queue, locations below a posting threshold

  • Reputation and reviews — ratings, review volume, response rates, platform breakdowns

  • Google Business Profile — views, interactions, search keywords

  • Local rankings — search rank positions by keyword, across Google Maps, organic, and mobile

  • Inbox and conversations — DMs, post comments, GBP questions

Each tool reads live data. Answers reflect your account at the moment you ask.

What the assistant can and can't do

The assistant reads, reports, and can take two actions: if you ask it to create a post, it drafts one and submits it as a proposal for your review. If you ask it to respond to a review, it drafts a reply and submits it for your approval. It will not publish or send anything without your approval.

It can't edit or delete existing posts, approve proposals, or export data to CSV or PDF. Those tasks still happen in the platform.

How it connects to Claude and ChatGPT

The AI Assistant is built on large language model infrastructure — the same underlying technology as Claude (Anthropic) and ChatGPT (OpenAI). PromoRepublic connects these models to your live franchise data through a standardized integration called MCP (Model Context Protocol).

This means you can connect the assistant directly to Claude or ChatGPT if your team already uses those tools. Instead of asking questions inside PromoRepublic, you ask them inside Claude or ChatGPT — and the answers come from the same live PromoRepublic data. The experience is identical; the interface is wherever your team already works.
