Understand and Act on Local Intelligence Recommendations

See what needs attention across your locations, why it matters, and what action to take next.

Local Intelligence helps multi location teams understand what needs attention across their local marketing presence and what action to take next.

Instead of showing only reporting data, Local Intelligence combines signals from supported PromoRepublic and connected data sources to identify issues and opportunities for individual locations.

Depending on your account configuration and available data, recommendations can use information from areas such as:

  • Google Business Profile

  • Local search rankings

  • Competitors

  • Keyword demand

  • Listings

  • Reviews

  • Local publishing activity

  • Business information and attributes

šŸ“‹ Review recommendations

Open Local Intelligence to see recommendations for the locations available to your account.

Recommendations are prioritized so teams can focus on issues with the greatest potential impact.

Depending on the recommendation, PromoRepublic can show:

  • the affected location

  • the issue or opportunity identified

  • supporting evidence

  • relevant ranking or competitor information

  • recommended next steps

  • a direct action or link to the relevant workflow

šŸ” View recommendation details

Open a recommendation to review the evidence behind it.

Details can include information such as keyword rankings, competing businesses, search demand, review performance, listing data or Google Business Profile information.

Use the evidence to understand why the recommendation was generated before deciding what action to take.

⚔ Take action

Where supported, recommendations include a direct action.

For example, a recommendation can take you to Listings, Google Maps related information, location settings or another relevant PromoRepublic workflow.

Some actions can be completed directly in PromoRepublic, while others require reviewing or updating information in the connected platform.

šŸ“ Recommendations by location

Use the location view to understand which issues apply to a specific business location.

This is useful for regional teams and HQ users managing large numbers of locations because it separates organization wide patterns from location specific issues.

āœ… Resolved recommendations

Recommendations can move into a resolved state when the underlying issue has been addressed or no longer requires action.

The resolved count helps teams distinguish current opportunities from recommendations they have already handled.

🄊 Local search and competitor context

Where ranking data is available, Local Intelligence can show the businesses appearing around your location in local search results.

This helps explain why a location may be performing differently for a particular keyword or search area.

šŸ’” Always interpret ranking information together with the keyword, search geography, result type and collection date.

šŸ”Œ Data availability

The recommendations available for a location depend on the products, connections and data sources enabled for your account.

If a required connection is missing or needs to be refreshed, Local Intelligence can direct you to the relevant connection or configuration workflow.

🧭 Recommendations are guidance

Local Intelligence identifies opportunities based on the available data.

A recommendation is not a guarantee that a specific change will improve search ranking or business performance.

Use recommendations together with your broader local marketing strategy, brand requirements and business context.
