Troubleshooting Google Business Profile Connection Issues

When connecting a Google Business Profile page to PromoRepublic, you may encounter some obstacles when you connect the page to the platform. We're here to help you fix it.

At this stage, we should consider some crucial factors that may prevent you from connecting the page.

The first step is to understand your current connection status. The illustration below details how to read the current connection status. Please read carefully before you go ahead with our troubleshooting flow.

Make sure you are meeting the following criteria required to connect your Google location successfully:

1. Confirm that you have at least Manager access to the location as explained in this article.

2. Ensure the Google Business Profile location address is showing and matching the address of your location in the platform. Otherwise, the system cannot match the location and connect.

3. Make sure the store code and the location identifier match.

4. Make sure you are logged in to the Google account containing the location when going through the connect flow.

5. Allow all permissions when going through the flow.
